A Salesforce Engineer in Zalando\’s Customer Care environment will develop and maintain the Salesforce platform supporting the company\’s digital self-help product. This role is key to optimizing self-service, automating processes, and handling millions of queries monthly. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, AI-powered solutions, aiming to improve self-service rates, reduce contact volume, and boost customer satisfaction, impacting Zalando\’s business and leadership visibility. Responsibilities

  • Developing and customizing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, etc.
  • Implementing automation with tools like Process Builder, Flow, and AI-driven automation.
  • Enhancing digital self-help options, including knowledge bases and chatbots.
  • Integrating Salesforce with other systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Working in an agile environment and continuously learning to expand Salesforce expertise.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Salesforce Service Cloud, including case management, Omni-Channel, Flows, LWC, Apex, Visualforce, and APIs.
  • Understanding of customer care operations and business processes.
  • Experience supporting high-volume, scalable Salesforce solutions with complex integrations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Salesforce experience, with a focus on large-scale solutions.
  • Fluency in English.
