Job Description:
A Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting for a French-speaking HR Generalist to join their team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
In this position, you will be working closely with and reporting directly to the HR & General Affairs Manager.
The ideal candidate should have experience in HR & GA Administration.
Type: Full-time, initially 6-month contract (with the possibility of permanent employment after the initial period)
Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (Monday- Thursday), 08:30 – 16:00 on Fridays, including 30 mins lunch
Salary: To be determined
Start: ASAP
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Currently 2 days in-office, 3 days remote; subject to change)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily HR & GA operations
- Post job ads and schedule interviews
- Support onboarding and prepare documentation
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Support training and development
- Manage health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance
- Assist expatriates with relocation and integration
- Handle employee requests regarding HR and general affairs
- Payroll activities and liaising with payroll providers
- Administrative tasks: office supplies, facility management, contracts
- Coordinate with Finance and other departments
- Support employee relations activities
- Perform other duties as required
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in HR & GA administration
- Payroll experience is a plus
- Fluent in English and French
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team player, proactive, approachable
- Flexible and service-minded
- Proficient in MS Office
