Senior Java Developer

At TechBiz Global, we provide recruitment services to our TOP clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer to join one of our clients\‘ teams on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension . Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications.
2. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
3. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
4. Optimize performance and ensure high availability of backend components.
5. Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.
7. Participate in AWS infrastructure optimization and implementation, including:

• Multi-account structure setup via AWS Organizations
• Security hardening (IAM policies, SSM Secure Strings)
• Deployment pipelines using AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Cost-efficiency strategies such as Aurora Serverless, rightsizing, and savings plans

Requirements:

• 8+ years of commercial experience with Java
• Strong expertise with Spring/Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs
• Solid background in cloud-native development with AWS
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps workflows
• German – C1 level (mandatory)
• English – B2 level (for internal collaboration)
• Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
• Experience working in agile/Scrum environments
