As nilo’s Head of Finance, you will report directly to our Co-Founder & CFO and work closely with the core management team and investors. This role combines full responsibility for the finance function with hands-on work.Your responsibilities:Finance Operations – responsible for accounting (including monthly/annual closing), revenue recognition, cash processes, supplier payments, etc.FP&A and Reporting – own nilo’s financial planning, including short-/mid-/long-term planning, budgeting, and investor reporting to support data-driven decisions.Treasury & Cash Flow Management – oversee cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and working capital.Cross-functional Collaboration – work with sales, operations, and leadership teams to enhance business performance.Team Leadership – lead and mentor the finance team and collaborate with external counsel to scale the finance function.Legal & Compliance Support – coordinate corporate law matters, support GDPR/GTC compliance, and manage ISO responsibilities (optional).Ideal Candidate:5+ years in progressively responsible finance roles, preferably in fast-growing, dynamic companies with leadership exposure.Experience working closely with executive teams and founders.Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach, maintaining focus on the bigger picture.High responsibility and commitment to financial accuracy and health.Solution-oriented, pragmatic attitude, eager to learn.Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.Fluency in English and German.What you get:Access to our nilo app, including family support.Work abroad for up to 90 days/year within the EU.Hybrid work model – at least 2 days/week in the office.Discounted Urban Sports Club membership.Equity options in nilo’s growth.Team and company events.Dog-friendly office environment.nilo values diversity and strives for an inclusive workplace where everyone feels safe and welcome.
