Accountant (H/F)

Re-uz deploys our activities dedicated to the production, rental, sale, as well as collection, sorting and washing of reusable containers, notably Ecocup, in Europe and Canada.

Winner of several innovation awards, Re-uz (and in particular Ecocup by Re-uz) has historically dedicated itself to musical, cultural and sporting events (notably the Rugby World Cup, the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Stade de France, international tours).

Our business is diversifying into other segments, notably commercial and institutional catering, where reusable solutions and associated services (collection, sorting and washing) are also offered.

We are looking for an Accountant to support the development of our German ReUz company.
The position is to be filled in Cut To Drink GMBH, a distribution site specialized in the renting and selling of reusable packaging solutions for the food industry, distributing not only cups but also food containers for musical, cultural and sport events, as well as BtoC through distributors.

Main duties:

Under the supervision of the German country manager and in direct connection with the financial group team, you will be the accountant of the Company, dealing internally with all workers and externally with banks, auditors, and external accountants. You are in charge of the general accounting of the Company and the preparation of the monthly group reporting.

You are responsible for:

1. The bookkeeping of all supplier and customer invoices
2. The issuance on time of all payments to suppliers
3. The accounting of customer payments and the follow-up of cash collection
4. The preparation of the wages and the payment of salaries
5. The accounting of month and year-end postings in relation with the cut-off
6. The preparation of the monthly group reporting
7. The follow-up of cash and treasury planning

You will also be in charge of new finance projects such as implementing a new ERP system to improve flows, structure, and make financial data more reliable.

Profile required:

You have an accounting education and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, ideally in an international context. You have developed experience in evaluating accounting and internal control methods and financial reports. You possess a ‚hands-on‘ mentality with the ability to work in an international environment and have strong communication skills with the Group and locally. You are recognized for your ability to solve financial issues by making consistent recommendations based on your knowledge and experience in finance. Your adapting skills, sense of analysis and synthesis are acknowledged. You are proactive, appreciated for your communication skills, and show anticipation on operational topics. Due to the international context of the Group, a fluent level of English is required. We are looking for a permanent full-time position.
