Interim HR Specialist (Germany) Temporary & Contract | Remote within Germany We are looking for an experienced Interim HR Specialist to support the implementation phase of a major organisational separation on behalf of our client – a global business undergoing significant transformation. This role requires expert knowledge of German labour law , HR operations , and proven experience in working with German works councils . You will act as a key point of contact for all HR matters related to the separation, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and smooth coordination throughout the change process. **Act as the HR lead for labour law and operational HR issues related to the organisational split. Manage cooperation with the German works council , including supporting the execution of the Interessenausgleich (balance of interests). Draft and adapt HR documentation, including contracts, letters, and agreements. Ensure compliance with German employment law during all phases of the change. Provide practical, hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle. Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on operational HR and labour law. Demonstrable experience working with German works councils ( Betriebsrat ). Native or near-native fluency in both German and English .
