Golang Developer

ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced Golang Developer for a world leading server network client of ours based in Frankfurt.

This role will be a hybrid working module, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week.

Your role:

• You are a software developer / software engineer with significant experience and will support us in the continuous development of the systems
• As a member of one of our service-oriented DevOps teams you will be responsible for the complete life cycle of the services.
• Your focus is on software development with Golang, Python and Java, but you are also interested in the complete CI/CD pipeline, from development and quality assurance via installation and operation up to incident handling.
• As an operator of a critical infrastructure, maximum availability, information security and data protection have major priority for us.
• Feedback from these Ops work areas will be seamlessly integrated in your optimisation and development work.

Your profile:

• You have a university degree in computer science
• Minimum of 3+ years professional Software Development experience
• You have a minimum of 2 years experience working with Golang and have knowledge in either Python or Java
• You provide of general knowledge about UI frameworks like React and about common web technologies like CSS, HTML, JavaScript, etc.
• Automated tests and code reviews are a matter of course for you to meet your quality standards.
• You are well versed in virtualisation and containerisation (Kubernetes)?
• You are familiar with Internet technologies and protocols.
• Some experience with agile development methods (Scrum) would make your profile perfect.
• Commitment, personal responsibility and team spirit as well as a sense for the “big picture” are key for you.
• You have the ambition to constantly improve your skills and to get to know new technologies and concepts.
• Fluency in English and German are required for this role
