Sales Operations Supervisor

The branch company of a large Japanese multinational trading company that deals with fasteners for manufacturing companies is looking for a Sales Operation Supervisor to join their team in Prague. This role will include fulfilling sales duties while overseeing a team of 3 Sales Representatives. Fluency in both English and Czech will be required for this role.

TYPE: Full time, permanent

SALARY: 50,000 CZK

LOCATION: Prague

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Overseeing, advising, and supervising 3 team members
2. Handling purchase orders
3. Controlling lead time
4. Placing purchase orders to suppliers
5. Representing the company for customer inquiries
6. Reporting to the manager on issues beyond your authority
7. Processing orders and forecast data, inputting into database
8. Inputting supplier invoices into database, providing commodity codes to forwarders
9. Preparing declarations for government if necessary
10. Reviewing stock-in goods in database based on warehouse reports
11. Arranging deliveries to customers
12. Issuing sales invoices
13. Chasing overdue invoices
14. Maintaining and managing stock levels (deadstock)
15. Supporting accounts during month-end closing
16. Discussing issues with forwarders
17. Preparing shipment volume reports for Japanese suppliers
18. Preparing forecasts for Japanese suppliers
19. Participating in stock takes and resolving discrepancies
20. Preparing stock take reports
21. Preparing environmental reports
22. Preparing quotations for customers
23. Downloading schedules from customer websites
24. Registering quotations and data on customer websites
25. Creating monthly profit and inventory reports

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strong sales and management experience in a related field
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic about customer care
• Fluent in English and Czech
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
