Legal Counsel - Data Protection - Remote

Financial Services / Banking Salary and Benefits: 120,000 – 140,000 EUR base + bonus, hybrid working and competitive benefits package. Our Client is seeking a a fully qualified lawyer with a strong foundation in IT and commercial law to join their Legal Department. In this role, you’ll not only take on the critical responsibilities of an IT Lawyer, but also a Data Protection Officer, serving as a strategic legal advisor across departments. Drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on complex legal challenges, your insights will directly impact our approach to IT, outsourcing, and regulatory topics like DORA and IT security. Collaborate with specialist departments and procurement, navigating regulatory requirements and supporting with contract negotiations, your legal expertise will be a trusted asset throughout the organization. Stay informed about evolving legislation, guide its integration into internal procedures, and play an active role in influencing the development of data protection law. 4+ years of relevant experience in IT, Data Protection and Commercial Law. ~
