Your Mission
Join Trench Group as a Global Commodity Manager (m/f/d), where your seasoned expertise will supportstrategic procurement efforts in advancing innovation and sustainability in theenergy sector. You will oversee substantial purchasing volumes, engage incross-functional collaboration, and cultivate relationships across ourinternational network. Your ability to navigate market challenges and seizeopportunities will be instrumental in contributing to a sustainable energyfuture.
Your Tasks:
- Purchasing Volume Management: Manage an annual purchasingvolume of approximately 60 million EUR, impacting Profit & Loss withinthe business.
- Commodity Strategy: Define and implementstrategies aligned with the factory network.
- Negotiation Strategies: Develop and executeconcepts to maximize savings and drive material efficiency.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Evaluate, negotiate, andmanage contracts with a diverse set of suppliers.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain stronginternational relationships with key business stakeholders.
- Market Risk Management: Identify and convert marketrisks or opportunities into supply advantages (e.g., supplier innovations,risk mitigation).
- R&D Harmonization: Lead the R&DHarmonization Team with a focus on purchasing parts.

Requirements:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or BusinessAdministration.
- Experience: Extensive experience invarious procurement functions within an international setting, includingoperational procurement and team leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record;experience in areas such as Engineering, Quality, and Sales isadvantageous.
- Sector Expertise: Work experience in theenergy sector, especially with Instrument Transformers, Bushings, andCoils, within an international factory network.
- Commodities Expertise: Experience with EpoxyResin, Insulation Paper & Fluids, and Plastic Components.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to incorporate keytechnical aspects into supplier negotiations and sourcing strategies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skillswith strategic thinking blended with a hands-on approach.
- Integrity and Credibility: Ability to build trust withstakeholders in an international environment.
- Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solverwith a results-oriented approach.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication andnegotiation skills in English and German; additional language skills are aplus.
