Industrial Engineer-In-Training or Engineer

Position Summary As an Industrial Engineer , you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing systems and processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and support high-quality production. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics to implement lean manufacturing practices and drive continuous improvement across the plant. Implement and support lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) Support capital investment projects including equipment specification and justification Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field ~3+ years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within a Tier 1 automotive environment ~ Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools ~ Proficiency in production planning tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office ~ Fluent in English & German
