Field Services Engineer

Field Service Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment | Dresden, Germany We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading provider of semiconductor equipment services. You’ll be responsible for supporting cutting-edge testing systems , working within a highly skilled team that prioritises quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot semiconductor testing equipment at customer sites, primarily in Dresden with additional travel in Germany & Europe . Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations to ensure equipment operates at peak performance. Work closely with the internal repair centre – a first-of-its-kind centre of excellence in EMEA – to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Provide both on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring a fast and efficient response. Take part in a structured training programme, including shadowing experienced engineers and hands-on technical development. Additional training provided in in Malta and Japan Work autonomously, managing your own schedule while maintaining a customer-first approach . What we\’re looking for: Fluent English speaker & an ability to communicate in German . A degree or apprenticeship in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field . Strong troubleshooting skills – the ability to find solutions rather than problems . Experience with semiconductor testing or similar equipment A highly customer-focused mindset , dedicated to service excellence. A full driving licence is essential. Someone who wants to work independently with a focused attitude towards high-quality work.
