Principal Consultant, Integrated Health Solutions (m/f/d).

Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as a breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. As a principal consultant, you will coordinate all consultancy delivery activities within (1-2) clients and will manage transformation programs, operational excellence, and pathway optimization projects.This role covers the DACH (Germany, Austria, Swiss Confederation) region and is a remote position. Your home location will be your primary work base, but you will be required to work onsite at client sites across the DACH region regularly and attend meetings at a Medtronic location as needed. As part of the larger EMEA team, there may be opportunities to support other regional teams and work across borders occasionally.A Day in the LifeAs part of the EMEA Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions Consultancy Community, you will be responsible for:Partnering with strategic hospital accounts to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient care pathways, and optimize operations.Influencing key stakeholders by developing well-articulated situation analyses, financial estimates, and business cases for change.Identifying, framing, and prioritizing initiatives to capture value, establishing project roadmaps, and developing actionable plans to drive improvements and cost savings.Managing full end-to-end projects and providing day-to-day coaching and mentoring to the service delivery team.Preparing periodic portfolio reviews with the steering committee to track progress, measure economic value, and assess customer satisfaction.Driving implementation, coaching, and developing local project or staff resources.Capturing learning and best practices to continuously enrich Medtronic\’s consulting toolbox.Must HavesMaster’s degree in a relevant functional area4-6 years of experience as a consultant at a top-tier or high-end healthcare consulting firmExtensive healthcare environment experience and engagement with hospital C-suite / senior management stakeholdersStrong program management skills: planning, coordinating, communicating, influencing, relationship building, milestone achievement, issue resolution, and risk managementProven people management, coaching, and mentoring skillsNative German and excellent English skills (additional languages are a plus)Willingness to travel within DACH (up to 70%)Nice to HavesAbility to operate from idea generation through strategy development to results deliveryExperience working and communicating in an international corporate environmentStrong consulting toolkit, especially problem solving skillsPeople management skills with a focus on team development and coachingThorough knowledge of healthcare decision-making processesThis position requires full Measles immunization due to facility-based immunization policies.We OfferWe provide a competitive salary and benefits package, including:Flexible working environmentAnnual Incentive Plan based on company resultsPension scheme and group healthcare insurance discountsTraining opportunities via Cornerstone / Skills LabEmployee Assistance Program and Recognize! global recognition initiativeOur CommitmentOur dedication to inclusion, diversity, and equity (ID&E) ensures zero barriers to opportunity at Medtronic.
