ABOUT THE ROLE

As one of the world\’s leading digital transformation service providers, we are expanding our Data Practice across Europe to meet increasing client demand. We seek a senior-level Director of Data Analytics in Germany, focusing on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, deliver ML/AI solutions, and collaborate closely with clients and global Data leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and strategic expertise in ML and AI, guiding the design, development, and implementation of solutions.
• Engage with clients to understand their challenges and communicate how ML/AI can address them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, develop datasets, and select appropriate ML algorithms.
• Identify new ML/AI opportunities, support sales efforts, and secure funding by engaging senior decision-makers.
• Scope and price ML solutions, establish operating models, and lead transitions from sales to delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective project delivery and communication.
• Engage with executive stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide growth initiatives.
• Stay updated with ML/AI advancements and recommend new approaches.
• Support pre-sales activities, including responding to RFPs and creating proposals.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior/leadership roles within Data & Analytics/ML/AI, with a proven track record.
• Knowledge of architectures like CNN/RNN, Transformers, LLM, Multimodal, Foundation models.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, both classical and Deep Learning.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders to secure funding or sell projects.
• Excellent communication skills in explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Technical proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop practical ML/AI solutions.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or relevant work experience.
