Distribution Manager – High-Performance Plastics/Polyamides (Remote, Germany)

Location: Remote, Germany

Our client, a prominent player in the chemicals industry, is seeking a Distribution Manager to drive and expand their high-performance plastics and polyamides business across Germany. This is a remote position with some travel involved, perfect for a proactive professional with a deep understanding of polyamide and plastics distribution, excellent relationship management skills, and a drive for results in a competitive market.

As Distribution Manager, you will:

– Develop and implement distribution strategies that align with company goals for polyamides and high-performance plastics, ensuring efficient market penetration and customer satisfaction.

– Manage and optimize distribution channels, working closely with partners, suppliers, and customers to achieve sales growth.

– Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation in Germany’s market.

– Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, offering insights into market needs and providing tailored solutions.

– Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, logistics, and sales teams to ensure high standards of product delivery and customer service.

– Monitor and report on KPIs and performance metrics, adapting strategies as needed to maximize revenue and market share.

Requirements:

– 3-5 years of experience in distribution management preferable to be within the chemicals sector, ideally in high-performance plastics or polyamides.

– Strong knowledge of the polyamides market and its distribution channels within Germany.

– Proven ability to drive growth and manage key accounts in a B2B environment.

– Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in German and English.

– Self-motivated and able to work remotely while actively collaborating with a global team.
