Head of Global Project Delivery

Wenham Carter is proudly partnered with a fast-growing global leader in Operational Technology (OT) software for the Energy & Utilities sector.We are hiring for a newly created executive leadership role: Head of Global Project Delivery.This is a board-level position reporting directly to the CEO, with full global accountability for the delivery of customer projects across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.About the Company:Our client is a specialist provider of software solutions that help electric utilities and grid operators optimize asset performance, manage complex network operations, and ensure operational reliability.They serve Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution System Operators (DSOs), and major utility players involved in the energy transition.Their technology portfolio includes Grid Management, SCADA, Asset Performance Management (APM), and Operational Analytics solutions.The Role:As Head of Global Project Delivery, you will lead a geographically distributed delivery organization, with hubs in Europe and North America and project activity across other international regions.You will take full ownership of the project delivery lifecycle – from pre-sales engagement and tender support through to project execution, customer acceptance, and post-deployment success.Key Responsibilities:End-to-end responsibility for successful project delivery worldwideLeadership across pre-sales, project governance, execution, and customer acceptanceExecutive escalation point for project-related issuesOversight of project financials, budget management, and profitabilityStandardization of delivery methodologies while allowing for regional flexibilityLeadership and development of a growing international delivery teamClose collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support functionsWhat We’re Looking For:Strong track record delivering OT software projects for electric utilities, grid operators, or energy infrastructure providersFamiliarity with SCADA, APM, Grid Management Systems, or other operational utility softwareDegree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferredEarly career technical experience (e.g., engineering, solution architecture) before moving into project leadershipProven leadership of international project delivery or professional services teams in a technology companyStrong commercial acumen and experience supporting tender processes and contract negotiationsAbility to engage at C-level with utility customers and manage complex stakeholder relationshipsEntrepreneurial, pragmatic, and hands-on leadership style, suited to a fast-growing international businessThis is a rare opportunity to build and lead a truly global delivery organization for a business at the forefront of digital transformation in the energy sector.If you have the right blend of industry knowledge, technical expertise, and leadership experience, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
