As a valued team member, you are a passionate embedded test automation engineer with quality-oriented mindset. You strive for the highest levels of automation, testing cost and time efficiency and you’re able to effectively work as an individual contributor as well as a proactive team player.
In your new role you will:
- Participate in test specifications and scripts development and automated execution (including cybersecurity testing) according to the requirement specifications, contribute to test methodologies and test infrastructure development
- Develop test specifications
- Develop and execute test scripts (C, Python, PowerShell)
- Act as a senior reviewer for code, specs, scripts and as a Mentor for less senior colleagues
- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues
- Enhance testing tools and methods
- Setup and maintain test automation infrastructure
- Contribute to the quality of requirement specifications
- Drive continuous improvement of quality and cost reduction
You are a forward-thinking and results-driven individual who embodies a growth mindset, takes calculated risks, and drives continuous improvement while fostering a collaborative team environment. You are prepared to take risks consciously and manage them actively, pursue ambitious goals, strengthen team spirit, strive for continuous improvement, and think ahead to develop and implement effective solutions.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university degree in Computer science, Microelectronics or comparable
- At least 6 years of experience in embedded software engineering or testing
- Expertise in embedded SW automated testing
- Strong programming skills: embedded C, Python, scripting languages
- Basic knowledge of MCU architecture/operation
- Experience with CI/CD infrastructures setup and maintenance is a plus
- Experience in cybersecurity testing in embedded systems would be a major benefit
- Knowledge of Auto SPICE and functional safety for embedded systems would be a benefit
- Fluency in English
