As a 100% subsidiary of Allianz SE, IDS has stood for stability, reliability and certified security in the handling of its customers\‘ data since 2001.74810 | Data & AI | Professional || IDS | Full-Time | PermanentJob Purpose / RoleThe Enterprise Data Architect will play a critical role in shaping IDS’ data strategy by ensuring data architecture aligns with business goals. This position involves leading efforts to establish robust data governance, data management practices, and operationalizing data frameworks across IDS organization as part of Allianz GroupKey Responsibilities / TasksDevelop and maintain the enterprise data architecture framework, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and enterprise-wide information needs. Create and manage a comprehensive data architecture roadmap that supports the evolution of the data landscape, including data platforms, data flows, and analytics capabilities.Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions across operational, analytical, and governance domains. This includes data integration, data warehousing, master data management, and data lake architectures.Evaluate and recommend data-related technologies, platforms, and practices (e.g., cloud-native services, metadata management, data cataloging, and AI/ML enablement) to enhance data capabilities and ensure future-proof data architecture.Collaborate closely with business leaders, data stewards, data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into end-to-end architectural solutions that support data-driven decision-making.Establish and enforce data architecture standards, policies, and best practices, including data modeling, data lineage, and data quality frameworks. Ensure all data solutions comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR) and IDS’ and Allianz Group’s data governance principles.Provide architectural oversight and governance for data-intensive initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with the enterprise data strategy and architecture. Review and approve data architecture designs and proposed changes.Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture components, including data models, data flow diagrams, integration patterns, and metadata registries.
