We are looking for a talented and experienced Firmware Engineer / Embedded Software Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, verification and validation of firmware and embedded software for our next generation of safety-related control systems. You will work closely with hardware engineers and other team members to develop efficient, reliable and high-performance embedded systems.
- Technical leadership of strategic firmware projects
- Development of innovative firmware architectures and concepts
- Advising management on technical issues
- Establishing best practices and coding standards
- Promoting innovation and technological progress within the team
- Representation of strategic firmware projects to auditing organisations
- Representing the company at specialist conferences
YOUR PROFILE
- More than 10 years of experience in firmware development
- Proven expertise in the development of highly complex embedded systems
- Deep understanding of hardware architectures and system-on-chip (SoC) designs
- Deep experience with security or encryption technologies for embedded systems
- Knowledge of machine learning on embedded systems
- Experience with agile development methods and CI/CD processes
- Excellent communication skills and leadership experience
- Fluent English skills are a must have
- Good German language skills are nice to have
