We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distributed Energy Storage System (DESS) Manager to lead our initiatives in commercial operations and grid energy storage. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing energy storage solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainable energy practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and operation of Distributed Energy Storage Systems for commercial and grid applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize energy storage solutions tailored to business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including energy suppliers, regulators, and technology partners.
- Analyze market trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for innovation in energy storage.
- Develop and execute strategies to integrate renewable energy sources with energy storage systems.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards regarding energy storage and management.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in energy storage systems, particularly in commercial operations and grid applications.
- Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and renewable energy integration.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and relationship management abilities.
