Job Description

Within the major European project BATTERY 2030+ , you will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of work in the areas of roadmapping, standardization, and European curricula. You will be in contact with various European project partners and scientists from KIT, Ulm University, and ZSW Ulm.

Specifically, you have the following tasks:

  1. Maintaining and expanding the roadmap, taking into account current developments within the battery community and coordinating the necessary contributions from the project partners involved.
  2. Participation in a joint data management plan to structure and utilize scientific data from the various sub-projects of Battery 2030+ on electrochemical energy storage.
  3. Development of best practice guidelines, concepts, and standards for the current experimental and theoretical work in close cooperation with the international project partners.
  4. Development of ideas for European curricula, especially for lifelong learning, and if necessary, support in the conception and implementation of teaching and further education events.
  5. Moderation of workshops and content support for (online) conferences and trade fairs/stands.
  6. Representation of CELEST in decision-making in Brussels.

Personal Qualification

  1. Completed a university degree (Diplom (Uni) / Master) in the field of chemistry, physics, or materials science, ideally with a doctorate.
  2. Several years of professional experience in the fields of research and/or research management.
  3. Very good knowledge of electrochemical energy storage (preferably batteries).
  4. Very good written and spoken English skills.
  5. Experience in drafting applications and academic documents.
  6. Strong communication skills.

Salary

Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
