Job Purpose
As a Technical Program Manager, you take end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery of complex client programs – from overseeing all ongoing projects to being a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders. Working with enterprise level clients, you will oversee large programmes of work to create technical solutions that enhance customers’ experience across digital platforms. You act as the central point of contact for your client, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across all levels. You combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution, always focused on what creates real value for the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for the successful delivery of one or more strategic client programmes.
- Primary point of contact for the client – on operational, tactical, and strategic levels, including escalation management.
- Lead and coordinate multiple parallel projects through your project management team.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across the client landscape and proactively drive solutions.
- Build and develop high-performing, self-organized delivery teams with a strong focus on collaboration and quality.
- Collaborate closely with in-house experts (UX, UI, Dev, QA) and manage external vendors as needed.
- Ensure end-to-end delivery ownership including budget, forecasting, resource planning, and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve delivery structures, methodologies, and tools.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven previous experience in a senior project or program management role, ideally in a digital agency or e-commerce environment delivering large scale digital, technical solutions.
- Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional client programmes.
- Strong understanding of digital products, platforms, and technical frameworks – you speak the language of UX, Dev, and business alike.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – you build trust, challenge constructively, and lead with clarity.
- Experience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including C-level clients.
- Expertise in agile and/or traditional project management methods and tools.
- High level of ownership, structure, and quality awareness.
- Experience in mentoring or managing project managers is a plus.
