To carry out guarding duties at guard sites in accordance with Certis Standing Orders and site instructions, in compliance with AS4421-1996 and all relevant State and/or Federal legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the entry point and liaise with staff, visitors and contractors on entry and exiting site.
  • Respond to alarms generated by access systems, fire systems, CCTV systems and any issues raised by staff or contractors.
  • Report occurrences via daily logs and handover documents.
  • Lockup and unlock parts of the site as required.
  • Patrol site internally and externally after hours.
  • Record and escalate any incidents or security matters encountered.
  • Monitor emails for updates.
  • Monitor CCTV.

Experience

Previous experience in a distribution centre or gatehouse would be highly desirable.
