Senior System Administrator CITRIX

About the position

Focus of your activities concerns the server infrastructure of our data centers. As a service provider in the financial industry, we provide manifold solutions for our customers by hosting applications and services.

Responsibilities

1. Continuous evolution of our server infrastructure applying newest technologies and concepts.
2. Conception, implementation and further development of CITRIX-Solutions (especially Virtual Apps and Desktops) for internal use cases and customer solutions.
3. Participation in projects provisioning new applications and system environments as cloud services, development of service and support models.
4. Implementation, operation and life cycle management of the above technologies.

Requirements

1. University degree in informatics, IT system integration specialist or comparable.
2. Practical experience with the operation of CITRIX solutions.
3. Knowledge of virtualization and failover concepts.
4. Proof of skills by certificates, trainings as much as practical experience in projects and customer service is desirable.
5. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
6. A plus would be first knowledge in processes and flows of an IT service provider and experience with the operation of applications for customers.
7. Fluent in German.
8. Comprehension and enthusiasm for new technologies, trends, innovations and standards together with delight in individually sponsored on-the-job training.
9. High level of sense of responsibility and motivation for continuous personal improvement.
10. High aspiration towards a modern and fail-proof service operations in a team-oriented and cooperative work model.
11. Analytic competence and service orientation with customer support.
