Senior Corporate Risk Manager (m/f/d)
Your new job includes:
- As a Senior Corporate Risk Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure the long-term stability, integrity and value of the company by promoting a risk-conscious corporate culture and developing effective risk management strategies. In doing so, you will act within an autonomous decision-making framework on the situational adaptation of risk processes to ensure effective risk management.
- This role is newly created, reporting directly to the CFO. It offers great opportunity to expand and shape the Corporate Risk Management area.
In particular, you will:
- Establish and further develop a risk management system and corresponding processes for the (international) GH Group, develop methods for identifying and assessing risks and derive appropriate measures.
- Carry out regular (regional) risk analyses and record and advise on ad-hoc risks.
- Support the management, risk owners and risk representatives in identifying and assessing risks and regularly review the company-wide risk inventory.
- Identify new risks through independent evaluations of external market analyses, legal changes and environmental influences.
- Prepare and carry out risk reporting internally (to the EB or Risk Committee) and externally (e.g. for the annual report or financial institutions).
- Prepare decision papers for the EB or Risk Committee regarding the taking of measures for prioritized risks.
- Conduct and further develop risk management training.
What you should bring along:
- Completed university degree in a relevant subject area.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in risk management in an international company (group).
- Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as strong communication and presentation skills at management level.
- Quick comprehension, assertiveness, reliability and high quality standards.
- Ability to work in a team, as well as a high level of understanding for cross-divisional and international cooperation and project work.
- Confident MS Office skills, risk management software.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
