Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Development of plugins based on a .NET language (VB.NET / C#) for testing and/or coding NFC/RFID transponders on our offline test machines.
2. Development of firmware based on C++ for self-created test systems integrated into offline testers and inline testers.
3. Development of desktop demo programs in a .NET language (VB.NET / C#).
4. Maintenance and further development of existing offline test code based on Python.
5. Software sub-project management.
6. Versioning and documentation management.
7. Ideally, development of iOS NFC demo apps in Swift and/or Android NFC demo apps in Java.

Minimum Requirements

1. 3+ years in software/firmware development (newcomers also welcome).
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical and information engineering, or a comparable degree.
3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
4. Ability to communicate with and provide technical guidance to international teams to drive projects to success.
5. Solid programming skills in C++ and a .NET language (VB.NET / C#).
6. Ideally good programming skills in Python.
7. Ideally programming knowledge in Swift and/or Java.
8. Fluent English language skills.
9. Good German language skills.
10. Hybrid working: need to be at least 2 days per week in our Sauerlach office.

Desirable Skills

1. Ideally knowledge in the field of industrial electronics hardware development.
