The Role
This position will be central in transitioning our legacy codebase to the latest industry standards. You will lead a team in designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and modern solutions. Acting as if this were your own company and product, you’ll collaborate closely with other leadership teams to ensure the company’s technological and strategic growth aligns seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Modernization Effort : Review, refactor, and modernize legacy codebases to align with current best practices, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
- Technical Strategy Development : Work with senior leadership to define and execute the technical vision and roadmap, preparing for future scalability.
- Code Quality and Best Practices : Enforce coding standards, implement automated testing, and improve development workflows.
- Team Leadership : Mentor and guide other developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with product management, UX/UI, and other departments to align technical implementations with business objectives.
- Ownership Mindset : Approach projects and challenges as if they are your own, with a focus on long-term success and company growth.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience : Minimum of 7+ years in software development, with proven experience in modernizing legacy systems and leading technical projects.
- Technical Proficiency : Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks, strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, DevOps practices, and software design patterns.
- Leadership Skills : Experience in managing or mentoring development teams, and a demonstrated ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Problem Solver : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset : A self-starter who takes initiative and approaches their work with a business-owner’s perspective.
