Postdoctoral Position in Neural Technology, Switzerland

The Ophthalmic and Neural Technologies Laboratory at the Fondation Asile des Aveugles is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to innovative projects focused on developing visual implants aimed at addressing blindness. The position emphasizes collaboration across disciplines such as microengineering, electrical engineering, and neuroscience.

The primary focus will be on developing miniaturized, high-density brain-machine interfaces (BMIs) that facilitate neural recording and stimulation across extensive cortical areas.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g., Microengineering, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience)
• Interest in leading projects that intersect neurotechnology, fundamental research in rodents, and data science
• Ability to work within a multifunctional team
• Experience in designing and testing miniaturized analog and digital IC CMOS design
• Familiarity with designing and testing miniaturized circuits for RF data/power transmission
