On behalf of our client, a multinational industrial company, we are looking for a Junior Buyer (for a fixed-term contract of six months).
Responsibilities:
- Support, develop and implement purchasing strategies for managed categories.
- Perform quotation analyses and evaluation based on a set of defined criteria in order to prepare awarding recommendations.
- Negotiate with suppliers.
- Draft, administrate and update contracts with suppliers.
- Manage claims.
- Create and maintain supplier data.
- Identify and realize cost saving potentials.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines and requirements.
- Proactive supplier management.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent education.
- 1-2 years of experience in the role.
- Experience in productive plants.
- SAP knowledge is a strong requirement.
- Microsoft Access and Office Package knowledge.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Enthusiasm, intercultural competence, strong communication skills, teamwork ability, assertiveness, and flexibility will complete the profile.
Available immediately – at the latest from January.
