Capex Engineering Manager

We have a current opportunity for a CAPEX Engineering Manager on a contract basis. The position will be based in Pfaffenhofen, Bavaria, Germany.

Job Details

1. Technical Oversight: Coordinating field engineering for all changes and direct contact for the operations team for changes and support.
2. Interface to ENG Department: Assessment of the accessibility of components for maintenance purposes in close cooperation with the Engineering Department.
3. Project Completion Detail Design: Ensuring that the detailed design is fully and correctly implemented to ensure a smooth transition to subsequent phases.
4. Time and Budget Compliance: Monitor adherence to project timelines and budgets and identify risks to develop proactive solutions.
5. Quality and Safety Standards: Ensuring that all regulatory and safety-related requirements are met by the end of operational qualification.

Requirements

1. Completed technical studies in the field of engineering, project management or similar qualification is an advantage.
2. At least 8 years of experience in engineering, project management and handling CAPEX projects in a regulated environment, preferably with experience in biotechnology or aseptic production.
3. Experience in professional cooperation with interdisciplinary teams and external partners in the implementation of complex large-volume technical projects.
4. Confident handling of HOAI, contract drafting and claim management.
5. In-depth GMP knowledge, including regulatory requirements and quality standards.
6. Structured way of working, team management, communication skills and professional leadership skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, resilience and assertiveness.
8. Very good knowledge of German and English.

Working hours: 5 days/week

Remote option: 10% (if necessary every two weeks on Fridays remotely)
