Your Role:

The Territory Specialist (TS) is responsible for ensuring execution and high performance of all tasks and goals assigned by the Territory Specialists Manager. The TS responds to requests for Escalations, Mentoring and Technical Assistance ensuring rapid resolution of critical situations while providing valuable learning experience for the local FSE’s increasing their technical proficiency and service efficiency. The Territory Specialist will be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for a specific product or product family, especially during NPI phases, taking a leadership position for advanced technical information and expertise within the geography. The TS will help effect continuous improvement of Field Service performance, primarily measurable through field performance metrics (e.g. Escalation Resolution time). This position is part of the Operational team within the SCIEX Service Organization and will be in a European country (remote). International travel is expected if required.

Responsibilities:

· Provides timely on-site or remote Escalation and Technical Support offering authoritative solutions to challenging customer instrument problems by identifying, analyzing, and solving complex hardware and/or software failures.

· Mentors junior staff by accompanying FSEs on service calls, installations and PMs within defined Territory targeting new hires and recently trained FSEs. Partners with District Managers on identifying others needing additional mentoring. Improves FSE skills and technical abilities by observing performance and offering practical advice on successful behaviors and delivers advanced & legacy technology training not provided by Technical Training group on an as needed basis.

· Ensures the successful introduction of new products through early access during product development, which results in a high level of expertise before product launch. Assists Service Development, Technical Training and FSEs with initial installations

· Field advocate to internal groups for instrument reliability and serviceability issues. Participate in weekly escalations reviews to feedback escalations learning to internal teams

· Responsible for helping to achieve performance goals (e.g. Escalation Resolution time) for instruments of responsibility within the Territory. Identifies, plans and implements improvements using available metrics

The essential requirements of the job include:

· At least two years at SCIEX – preferred, but not exclusive, as Specialist or Senior level

· Demonstrable experience with SCIEX CE products like PA800, BioPhase, Empower

· Must be able to travel within assigned geography, up to 90% travel at times. International travel as required.

· Superior expert troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across a broad range of SCIEX products.

· Participation and/or identify opportunities for PSPs & Kaizens as required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· Additional superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on Customer Application issues.

Votre rôle : Le Spécialiste de Territoire (ST) est responsable de l\’exécution et de la haute performance de toutes les tâches et objectifs assignés par le Responsable des Spécialistes de Territoire. Il répond aux demandes d\’escalades, de mentorat et d\’assistance technique, assurant une résolution rapide des situations critiques tout en offrant une expérience d\’apprentissage précieuse pour les ingénieurs locaux, augmentant ainsi leur compétence technique et leur efficacité de service. Le Spécialiste de Territoire sera le Point de Contact Unique pour un produit ou une famille de produits spécifique, en particulier pendant les phases de lancement de nouveau produit (NPI) prenant une position de leader pour les informations techniques avancées et l\’expertise au sein de la région. Le ST contribuera à l\’amélioration continue des performances du service sur le terrain, principalement mesurable par les indicateurs de performance sur le terrain (par exemple, le temps de résolution des escalades). Ce poste fait partie de l\’équipe opérationnelle au sein de l\’organisation de service SCIEX et sera basé dans un pays européen (à distance). Des voyages internationaux sont prévus si nécessaire.

Responsabilités :

• Fournir avec un temps de réponse adéquat un support technique sur site ou à distance pour apporter des solutions concrètes aux problèmes complexes des instruments des clients par exemple en identifiant, analysant et résolvant les pannes matérielles et/ou logicielles complexes.
• Encadrer les ingénieurs dits « juniors » en les accompagnant lors de leurs interventions de service, des installations et des maintenances préventives dans un territoire défini. (Ingénieurs récemment embauchés ou formés sur un type d’instrumentation) Collaborer avec les responsables de district pour identifier ceux qui ont besoin d\’un mentorat supplémentaire. Améliorer les compétences et les capacités techniques des ingénieurs en observant et en offrant des conseils pratiques à propos de leurs performances, de leurs comportements tout en leur dispensant une formation avancée sur les technologies anciennes et nouvelles non fournie par le groupe de formation technique au besoin.
• Garantir une introduction réussie de nouveaux produits grâce à une exposition anticipée pendant le développement des produits, ce qui se traduit par un haut niveau d\’expertise avant le lancement du produit. Assister le développement du service, de la formation technique et les ingénieurs lors des premières installations.
• Défendre les intérêts de la société en interne concernant les problématiques de service et de fiabilité. Participer aux réunions hebdomadaires des escalades pour faire remonter les enseignements aux équipes internes.
• Contribuer à l\’atteinte des objectifs de performance (par exemple, le temps de résolution des escalades) pour les instruments pour un territoire défini. Identifier, planifier et mettre en œuvre des procédés d’améliorations en utilisant les données disponibles.

Les exigences essentielles du poste incluent :

• Au moins deux ans chez SCIEX – de préférence, mais pas exclusivement, en tant que Spécialiste ou niveau Senior.
