Bridgecom is seeking motivated Software/Firmware Engineers to join our dynamic and diverse team in Dresden, Germany. As an Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, integration & testing of cutting-edge embedded software solutions. Join us in developing cutting-edge Cellular Modem PHY for 5G NR and beyond, shaping the future of our cellular products.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop firmware and low-level hardware drivers for embedded systems.
• Optimize software performance to fulfill real-time processing demands.
• Conduct comprehensive tests and debugging to guarantee the reliability and quality of embedded software.
• Document software designs, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth integration of software and hardware components.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in low-level programming using C/C++.
• Familiarity with one or more scripting languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of 5G NR or 4G 3GPP Physical Layer is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to excel both independently and within a team environment.
