Responsibilities

1. Manage and control all risks within the commodity and develop strategies to ensure supply and reduce risk overall.
2. Conduct contract and price negotiations.
3. Arrange and execute award decisions.
4. Support cost analysis in an early phase of projects / early involvement.
5. Develop supplier management strategies and support local colleagues in the qualification of suppliers worldwide.
6. Manage the professionally led, international team.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years strategic procurement experience.
2. Extensive sourcing & industry knowledge in Industrial / Automotive companies.
3. Established background in procurement and knowledge of Direct commodities.
4. Independent and reliable way of working.
5. Willingness to travel intercontinentally (approx. 30%).
6. Must be a high performer with ability to think outside the box and highlight key achievements.
