About the Job
As a Validation Engineering Intern, you will be part of the development of DCDC Buck Converters. You will support the validation by measurements in a lab/bench environment to ensure best in class performance of our products for our customers. This also includes ensuring device robustness under extreme conditions. You will be directly involved in the validation of our newly developed next generation prototypes.
Responsibilities may include:
- Automation of complex bench measurements using LabVIEW & TestStand
- Independent execution and documentation of measurements for the validation of DCDC Buck Converters
- Evaluation and visualization of the acquired measurement data
- Design and layout of test boards using Altium Designer
- Support of product development in cooperation with other functional groups such as design, test engineering and systems engineering
Minimum requirements:
- Student of Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Information Technology, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or similar
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- First experience with measuring equipment (e.g. DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
- Interest in analog circuit technology and its measurement methods
- First experience with LabVIEW, Spotfire, Matlab, and MS-Office is advantageous
- Basic programming knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment with other technical departments
- Communication skills in English (written and spoken) are a must, German language skills are appreciated
