Senior Integration Engineer

Location: Germany

Core Responsibilities:

1. Conducting the development of interface specifications and making recommendations for the development of new code or the reuse of existing code.
2. Conducting the derivation and development of technical concepts from the solution concept; participating in the development of the architecture of integration solutions and services.
3. Conducting the definition, development, or modification of interfaces and integration solutions.
4. Conducting the installation, configuration, and customization of the integration platform.
5. Conducting the independent definition of test conditions, ensuring the traceability of test cases back to the requirements, and designing, preparing, executing, logging, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting complex test cases in accordance with project test plans.
6. Conducting the technical interface documentation, documentation of architectural changes, integration and migration plans; participating in the development and maintenance of system and application architecture diagrams.
7. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures; conducting module reviews for quality assurance and ensuring compliance with integration architecture standards.
8. Conducting the analysis of errors and their resolution within the framework of incident and problem management.
9. Acting as a subject matter expert for the integration platform and its services, and for tools for the operation and support of this platform and services, as well as exchanging with the relevant departments and providing advice on integration issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree in natural sciences, computer science, business, or an equivalent education.
• At least 5 years of experience as an integration developer.
• Independent and self-driven.
• Knowledge and experience of working within an international operational arena.
• Excellent communication skills in English, spoken as well as written.
• Preferably skills on IBM Integration products like CP4I, App Connect Enterprise, API Connect.
