Data Analyst - Lounge by Zalando (all genders)

Zalando’s Markets & Sales department is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Markets Analytics team. In this role, the analyst will place data at the center of decisions and processes, develop a deep understanding of customers, evaluate business decisions through complex analyses, and support localized strategic directions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Apply data expertise and scientific knowledge in causal methods to support business decision-making and evaluate impact.
• Collaborate with tech teams to develop user-friendly data products and reports.
• Optimize and automate business processes through statistical methods.
• Excel at data storytelling and empower the team with effective visualizations.
• Show a strong interest in the business and new methodologies, contributing valuable ideas in team discussions.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong educational background in social sciences or quantitative fields.
• 2+ years of experience as an analyst, ideally within an e-commerce context.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Experience with Git.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
