Corporate Sustainability Manager (m/f/d)
Your new job includes
As part of our Corporate Sustainability team, you will be responsible for and support the âEnvironmentâ pillar of action, which includes the fields of action âClimate Actionâ, âEnvironmental Protectionâ and âResource & Waste Managementâ. In your role as an ambassador, you will help to further increase awareness of sustainability throughout the entire organisation.
In particular, you will:
- Lead your own sub- and sub-projects in the area of sustainability and develop new processes, KPIs and approaches.
- Support and monitor the 2030 targets (Scope 1-3) of Gebr. Heinemann.
- Develop, coordinate and take responsibility for the expansion of ISO 50001 and 14001 for our headquarters and other locations.
- Develop concepts for the implementation of circular economy and waste reduction.
- Advise our locations and subsidiaries on the local implementation of sustainability standards and support awareness-raising measures/events (e.g. Earth Day, Clean Up Day).
What you should bring along:
- Successfully completed business studies, ideally with a focus on sustainability management or engineering.
- Several years of experience in areas relevant to corporate sustainability as well as good knowledge of ISO certification, circular economy and CSRD.
- Strong understanding of sustainability and a feel for trends in the global (travel) retail environment.
- Very good experience in project and stakeholder management as well as strong persuasiveness.
- Strong hands-on mentality as well as a strategic, conceptual and independent way of working.
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
