Job Description

We are seeking a talented Communications Manager to join our team and help us enhance our brand’s reputation and visibility worldwide. You will report directly to the Global Communications Director based in Berlin, Germany and create and manage content on our internal and external channels, as well as develop specific campaigns.

1. Create and distribute compelling, high-quality content for various platforms, including press releases, social media, website and internal platforms
2. Prepare and review content for the members of the Executive Committee
3. Plan and execute campaigns, events, and initiatives to increase brand awareness and reputation
4. Shape and execute Beckers’ PR and content strategy for internal and external channels
5. Analyze and report on communications performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency
7. Contribute to crisis communications strategy and develop response strategies
8. Oversee agency partnerships, maintaining a high standard for communications activities
9. Build thought leadership on sustainable innovation through external agenda-setting
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communications

Qualifications

1. Bachelor\’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
2. 5+ years of experience in PR, Communications, or related field
3. Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and content strategies
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (native level)
5. Strong content creation and editing abilities across various formats and platforms
6. Proficiency in social media management and content management systems (CMS)
7. Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
8. Data analysis and reporting skills to measure and optimize content performance
9. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in communications, interest in and knowledge of sustainability developments is a plus
10. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
11. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
12. Strong ability in intercultural communication at all levels and nuances, and the ability to articulate complex matters concisely
13. Experience and ability to interact with senior management stakeholders
