Safety, Security & HSEQ Manager / Occupational Safety specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for ship and workplace safety and contribute to the consistent implementation of safety standards and processes at the locations of the German FRS companies.
• You collaborate on our strategy for health and safety topics, approaching issues such as ship safety, occupational safety, health, and prevention with a cooperative and strategic mindset.
• You work on developing new standards in the field of ship and workplace safety and monitor their compliance.
• You handle administrative tasks such as the creation, implementation, and maintenance of safety and quality management documents.

Qualifications:

• You have successfully completed a technical apprenticeship or a technical degree.
• Additional certification as an occupational safety specialist is an advantage. If not already obtained, you are willing to participate in the relevant training.
• Initial experience in occupational safety and the maritime sector (sea or inland waterways) is desirable.
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
• You are fluent in German and have excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• You hold a Class B driver’s license.
