Your key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with indirect tax regulations locally and globally, supporting clients across various industries.
• Navigate the evolving tax landscape, including e-commerce VAT and e-invoicing standards.
• Enhance VAT efficiency in supply chains and assist clients in digital transformation.
• Support team growth by mentoring junior colleagues and managing client projects from needs assessment to recommendations.
• Collaborate with our global network of indirect tax experts to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Work with colleagues across Tax, Assurance, and Advisory services to meet client needs with innovative approaches.
• Tackle complex Swiss and international tax issues in a multidisciplinary setting, fostering ongoing learning and development.
• Participate in projects at the intersection of business and law, gaining insights through client interactions and tax authority communications.

Skills and attributes for success

• A recognized diploma in Law and/or Economics, preferably from a Swiss university; Tax Expert certification is a plus.
• 5 to 7 years of indirect tax consulting experience, ideally from a Big4 or similar firm, in Switzerland or internationally; in-house VAT experience is advantageous.
• Proven leadership in managing client mandates and guiding less experienced colleagues.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Demonstrate commitment, initiative, and a proactive approach to career development.
• Adopt an agile, growth-oriented mindset, embracing innovation and adaptability.
• Be curious, purpose-driven, and proactive in seeking opportunities and solutions.
