Your impact and responsibilities

As an HR Manager DACH, you will play a pivotal role within the Global Human Resources team, acting as the main point of contact for the DACH managers and supporting the DACH organization in all HR-related matters. Your responsibilities will include recruitment, employee development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

HR Advisory:

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers on employee relations, performance management, and HR policies.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on all people-related issues (e.g., conflict resolution, team dynamics, and performance concerns).
  • Collaborate with managers to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, interviewing, and contract negotiations.
  • Conduct onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company.

Talent Development:

  • Assist in performance evaluations and identify training and development needs.
  • Organize and coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Manage employee performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers on performance management.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

HR Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with German labor laws (e.g., Arbeitszeitgesetz, Mutterschutzgesetz, etc.).
  • Coordinate payroll process.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making.
  • Implement HR policies and ensure they are followed company-wide.

Your Team

You are part of the global HR team, located in both Amsterdam, Brno and Hamburg. This team currently consists of 4 groups: the Recruitment team (4), the HR Ops Team (4), the Learning & Development Team (4) and the Comp & ben team (3).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years +) as a HR Manager or in a similar HR role.
  • International work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of German labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software (e.g., Personio) and MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
