CAMO Manager – Nominated Postholder – Germany

CAE Parc Aviation are pleased to be sourcing a CAMO Manager for our prestigious helicopter client in Germany.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure that standard and method are applied
  • Monitoring of changes to the relevant regulations
  • Planning of organizational and personnel resources of the CAMO and notification of the competent authority in case of changes
  • Development of continuing airworthiness management procedures and presentation to the competent authority for approval
  • Development, ongoing review and change of maintenance programs and presentation to the competent authority for approval
  • Development, monitoring and amendment of Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP) and presentation to the competent authority for approval
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of the AMP
  • Ensure that maintenance is performed and released by appropriate approved Part-145 maintenance organizations
  • Maintenance is planned and ordered within the time limited
  • The Airworthiness Certificate stays valid
  • Maintenance check flights are performed when necessary
  • The accomplishment of any applicable operational directive in the mandated time limits
  • Findings notified by the competent authority or coming from the quality system are corrected within the agreed time frame
  • The mass and balance statement reflects the current status of the aircraft
  • Checking that the continuing airworthiness records are complete
  • Reporting malfunctions to authorities and TC / STC holders

Requirements:

  • Fulfillment of the requirements for obtaining the Form 4
  • Technical studies or Part-66 License or at least 5 years’ experience in continuing airworthiness
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant EU regulations
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
  • Five years’ relevant work experience of which at least two years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position
  • Detailed knowledge of the CAME techniques
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods and of EWIS acc. to AMC 20-22
  • Good MS-Office skills
  • Experience of Operator/MRO Software like Gannet, AMOS
  • Very English language skills – German is a plus
