ROLES, RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:
- Manage documentation flow, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and licenses.
- Handle daily operations for both export and import airfreight shipments.
- Complete customs clearances, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate the routing of import and export with local and overseas agents.
- Work in a small team, covering all aspects of the forwarding process.
- Communicate with clients and shippers to resolve any complaints.
- Attend to customer inquiries and advise customers of possible problems or delays.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent qualification in any field.
- Must have at least 1 year of working experience in air freight or a similar industry.
- Basic knowledge of freight forwarding and regulatory requirements is desirable.
- Experience dealing with both imports and exports is beneficial.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication (written/oral) skills.
- Proactive and able to be a good team player.
