Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Python Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python programming and a strong background in developing back-end/server-side processes. As a Python Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient and scalable solutions to support our applications and services. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain back-end/server-side processes using Python.
2. Utilize Python to access Oracle databases, with potential exposure to other database systems.
3. Work in both Linux and Windows Server environments, with a strong emphasis on Linux.
4. Write efficient code to handle large volumes of data and optimize performance.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
6. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in Python development.
7. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed.
8. Contribute to the improvement of development processes and best practices.
9. Explore and implement AI/ML libraries in Python where applicable, leveraging their potential applications in our projects.
10. Document code, processes, and procedures to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Python coding.
3. Proven experience developing back-end/server-side processes using Python.
4. Proficiency in accessing Oracle databases with Python; experience with other databases is a plus.
5. Strong familiarity with Linux environments; experience with Windows Server environments is beneficial.
6. Demonstrated ability to write efficient code to process and analyze large datasets.
7. Knowledge or experience with AI/ML libraries in Python is advantageous.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
10. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
