(Junior/ Senior) Application Developer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Software Developer to join their innovative team. This role involves working on the implementation, testing, and further development of existing application components, along with creating technical and specialist concepts for cutting-edge solutions.

As a key contributor, you’ll have the opportunity to shape product design, system architecture, and user-friendly interfaces while troubleshooting and resolving complex issues independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement, test, and enhance existing application components.
2. Analyze requirements and contribute to product design and system architecture.
3. Develop and create both technical and specialist concepts.
4. Perform error analysis and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Your Skills and Qualifications

1. Education: Degree in computer science or a comparable professional qualification.
2. Technical Expertise:
3. 5+ years of experience in object-oriented software development using Java .
4. 3+ years of experience in web application development with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT , and web services.
5. Proficiency with Hibernate , SQL , databases, and Tomcat .
6. Mastery of Eclipse and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
7. Additional Competencies:
8. Expertise in system architecture and design.
9. Familiarity with creating user-friendly interfaces and technical concepts.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and independence in developing solutions.
11. Analytical and structured approach to work.
12. Preferred Knowledge:
13. Experience or familiarity with the financial sector .
14. Sound knowledge of systems and PC infrastructure.
15. Language Skills: Fluency in German and English is required.
