Product Manager „Recycling Management for Hot Mix Asphalt“ (M/W/D)

BENNINGHOVEN, a company of the WIRTGEN GROUP, is a global leader in the construction machinery industry with five main plants in Germany and local production facilities in Brazil, China, and India. We specialize in the production of asphalt mixing plants and their components. Our Wittlich location, situated on the Middle Moselle between Koblenz and Trier, employs over 500 people.

We are looking for a Product Manager for „Recycling Management for Hot Mix Asphalt“ (M/W/D) as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Leading an interdisciplinary team of experts in asphalt milling, processing of recycled materials, and production of asphalt with maximum recycling rates according to specifications.
• Responsible for project planning with milestones, time, resource, and cost management.
• Requesting and allocating necessary resources and budgets in coordination with brand R&D managers to achieve communicated goals.
• Reporting to various committees such as the steering committee and technical project reviews.
• Coordination with product managers of other production systems to avoid goal conflicts within the Group.
• Conducting global market analyses on recycling rates, availability of recycled materials, bitumen and recycling costs, and technologies.
• Identifying customer needs and deriving potentials.
• Documenting project results and creating a reference guide „Best Practice – Recycling Management for Hot Mix Asphalt“.
• Establishing an expert network from university and industry contacts.
• Acting as a point of contact for customers and representatives of the Wirtgen Group’s „Recycling Management for HMA“ production system.

Your profile:

• University degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
• Analytical and structured work approach.
• Independence and organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm and strong communication abilities.
• Convincing and assertive personality.
• Willingness to travel.
• Good English language skills.
