Design & User Experience

Role: UX/UI Designer

Employment Type: Full Time

Reports to: Head of Design or Creative Director

Position Summary: As a UX/UI Designer, you are responsible for designing engaging and intuitive user interfaces and enhancing user experience across the company’s digital platforms. Your role involves collaborating closely with Frontend Developers and other team members to ensure that the design and usability seamlessly integrate to provide optimal performance and user satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in translating business goals and user needs into meaningful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. UI/UX Design:
    • Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications that are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
    • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  2. User Experience Enhancement:
    • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to ensure the creation of customized and effective designs.
    • Utilize principles of design thinking and user psychology to enhance user experience.
  3. Collaboration with Development Teams:
    • Work closely with Frontend Developers to ensure the accurate translation of designs into functional user interfaces.
    • Provide detailed design specifications and guidelines to development teams to ensure proper implementation.
  4. Visual Design and Branding:
    • Ensure all aspects of design and user experience meet the company’s branding strategy.
    • Develop consistent visual languages and design patterns across multiple platforms.
  5. Performance Optimization:
    • Collaborate with Frontend Developers to optimize UI designs for maximum speed and scalability.
    • Ensure that design implementations enhance the overall performance of digital products.
  6. SEO and Accessibility:
    • Incorporate SEO-friendly design principles in the frontend architecture.
    • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards to provide a universal user experience.
  7. Prototyping and Testing:
    • Develop high-fidelity prototypes for new product ideas.
    • Conduct usability testing to gather real user feedback and make iterative improvements based on the results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, particularly in creating interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficient with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
