Where you come in
As our freelance Italian translator, you will be responsible for localizing and editing all Italian copy at flowkey. You will translate various types of content from different teams such as course content, marketing, messaging, and product. You will be able to see the immediate impact of your work on our app and website and will help us communicate with our users with a consistent brand voice.
Your tasks
- Translate, proofread, and provide feedback on UX/UI copy for our app
- Translate piano course content into Italian
- Localize copy for our ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
- Translate emails and help us connect with users in our Italian-speaking markets
- Localize long-form copy and articles for our online magazine
What you’ll bring
Essential:
- Native-level Italian speaker with outstanding writing skills
- Deep understanding of Italian-speaking markets
- Practical experience with translation of online content (social media, blogs, articles)
- Experience with translation management tools
- Basic grasp of music theory
- Passion for music
Bonus points:
- Experience with Phrase TMS and Phrase Strings
- Experience with writing UX/UI copy
- Strong understanding of SEO
- Basic piano skill
- German proficiency
