As we expand our reach globally, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead our entry into Germany. We are seeking a motivated individual to build new sales opportunities, foster relationships with clients and eventually build a dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone eager to pioneer our growth in a new market and develop innovative strategies to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients.
  2. Develop and implement innovative sales and go-to-market strategies for Germany to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  3. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends and competitive landscape insights.
  4. Identify and engage with potential clients and mega event organizers, building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop impactful sales collateral, campaigns and promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
  6. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
  7. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to optimize profitability while meeting client expectations.
  8. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty.
  9. Lead, mentor and manage the sales team, setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a culture of high performance.
  10. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors and market conditions to anticipate changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
  11. Work closely with the product development team to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements that meet market demands.
  12. Develop sales forecasts and performance metrics to monitor progress and guide decision-making.
  13. Drive continuous improvement in the sales process, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  2. At least 3 years of proven success in software solution sales, ideally within the event management or ticketing industry.
  3. Experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams.
  4. Strong knowledge of SaaS sales models and strategies.
  5. Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
