  • Boston, Massachusetts, United States
  • Product Management
  • Full-time

Do you bring a proven track record as a commercially focused product manager? Do you have direct knowledge working within Solid Tumour or Oncology applications?

If this sounds like you and you are driven by purpose, join the SOPHiA GENETICS Application Product Management Team as a Senior Manager / Associate Director for our Solid Tumour portfolio, and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.

Ideally, you will be in proximity to our Switzerland (Rolle) or US (Boston) Corporate offices on a hybrid work schedule, however suitably qualified candidates can be considered on a remote basis across EU5 or the US-North East.

Due to high collaboration and team structure within Europe, this role wouldn’t suit someone working remotely from the US West Coast or Central states.

Our mission

We believe there is a smarter, more data-driven way to make decisions in healthcare and our cloud-native AI powered SOPHiA DDM Platform makes that vision a reality on a daily basis. You will have direct input to our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe.

Your mission

Reporting to the VP, Application Product Management, you will globally own the complete lifecycle of the product within our Solid Tumour portfolio. You will combine technical and commercial ability to ensure product growth.

The value you bring

  • Act as a true champion and owner of your products in our Oncology Solid Tumour Application portfolio
  • Total lifecycle management – From inception, through development and review and onto sunsetting for multiple product lines
  • Commercial ownership – Pricing structure, Market analysis, product delivery models and financial forecasting
  • Act as the central control hub between Sales, Marketing, Product Development and all others involved in the lifecycle and deployment of the portfolio
  • Partner closely with our Clinical Sales and BioPharma Diagnostics teams to help build and develop a commercial product portfolio that meets customer demands.

Requirements

To be best set for success, we see you bringing:

  • 4-6 Years experience within Product Management
  • Direct knowledge of Oncology Diagnostic Applications is critical, and previous experience within Solid Tumour applications is advantageous
  • Strong commercial acumen, with past experience in market analysis and financial forecasting
  • Clinical application knowledge of the NGS workflow is highly beneficial
  • BSc, MSc or PhD in a relevant field such as Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology or similar.

As a public organisation facing ongoing commercial growth, you will bring a success-oriented and solutions-focused mindset that embraces team collaborations, change, growth and inclusion.

As an international organisation, English is our primary business language. For best chances of success, you should include your CV in English. Unfortunately, non-English CVs have a high likelihood of being rejected at application stage.

You will be joining an organisation with the patient at the heart of every decision and action, driven by purpose as we pursue exponential growth.
